An ancient Jain bronze altarpiece finely cast with the principal image of a tirthankara seated in dhyanasana on a cushion.The Jina is flanked by lions, gods and godesses.The back is inscribed and most likely dated.Well handled with the silver inlays absent.

A fine Tibetan gilt bronze repousse figure of Tsong Ka Pa.He is the founder of the Yellow Hat order of Tibetan Buddhism and a very famous historical figure in Tibetan history.
Lotus stalks from each arm is missing.Slight wear to the gilding that is typical for the age.

A Very Handsome presentation! This beautiful pair of French Bronze Sconces with Crystal droplets are mounted onto old French Panels. Making an even bigger statement! The panels are partially stripped leaving a lovely patina. Only one small strip of wood missing from one panels ( see inside top right panel). Each panel measures: 15 3/4" x 24 1/2".
Rare and unusual bronze ornament, as painful as it looks it is an earring from the Dian Culture that paralleled the Warring States and Han Dynasties (300BCE-100CE) in what is today Yunnan Province. Perfect condition, please note scale is in centimeters.

This beautiful parcel gilt bronze bust of a girl after the original by Jean Antoine Houdon (1741-1828) was cast in the nineteenth century by Susse Freres of France. It carries the emblem and signature of the foundry. The girl is a young (approximately five year old) Louis Brongniart, one of two children of the noted neoclassical architect, Alexandre Theodore Brongniart (1739-1813) who was a friend of Houdon. This Austrian Art Nouveau period bronze lamp features its original iridescent green and silver glass shade. Bronze is signed "BL" and "Werner" and we have found no marks on the shade. Condition is excellent. Patina on the bronze is old and undisturbed and there are no visible cracks or chips on the shade. Measures: 16.7" tall, 14" wide, 8" deep (42.4 cm x 35.5 cm x 20.3 cm).
19th century Chinese bronze scholar’s seal with a thoughtful monkey resting on an oval base. Wonderful piece with very good casting and chiseling, great thought face, beautiful patina on the surface. Nicely carved characters on the base, traces of red seal paste in the grooves. Excellent piece for scholar’s table. Height 1 5/16 inches, base 1 inch long.
This extraodinary bronze sculpture, Gloria Victis, by Marius Jean Antonin Mercie (1845-1916), was cast by Barbedienne in the nineteenth century. Measuring 56" (142 cm), it is believed to be the second largest cast known to have been made by Barbedienne.
